well I have been doing a little work on the coding I need to learn for my mod and I have been able to make a few new block in the game that can be brought in with creative mod.
Turned out to be easier then I thought it would be to get them created to start with. how ever best practice for how to lay out and make your classes modular is something none of the tutorials I have been reading, teach.
so I think I am going to have to try and figure out the most manageable way to structure my code. I hope that I can get it nice and clean so that when I release the code people will be able to learn from it clearly and also not laugh at how noob'ish my first mod might be.
other than working on the mod I have have a fairly busy weekend, and surprisingly not much to do with computers of video games. lol.
Saturday was a nice trip down to Alexandria for the Blossom Festival with my wife and daughters, and then Sunday was an interesting and tiring spring clean of the house. spend a good few hours at it and only managed to get about maybe 15% of the stuff fully sorted. my family are such hoarders. I thought I was bad when it came to CD's and DVD's full of files I don't want to delete. lol
anyhow I will be back into getting some more content up and ready for the Realm tonight so hopefully I will have an episode up then.
ps. feel free to post any good 1.3.2 forge modding tutorials that you find and ...
until next time
